It speaks to the reality that even after years of faith, service, and striving, we still find ourselves needing grace, mercy, and a place to lay our burdens down.

For me, this song resonates deeply because it names a posture I am continually learning to return to. Not arriving, not fixing, not proving, but coming honestly, with open hands, acknowledging both strength and weakness. It reflects a journey of surrender that values humility over performance and trust over outcomes.

Choosing this song first was a way of setting the tone for everything that follows. Before stories about family, restoration, wrestling, or hope, there is this foundational confession: that we are all in need of grace, and that the Father is always ready to receive us. It is a reminder that faith is not about having it all together, but about knowing where to run when we do not.
